On my desk this week you can see a couple of card I have made
and also lots of boxes holding bits
These are for my friend wedding cards
I have made the first batch and now have everything cut and ready for putting together
I have just finished inking the hearts for the front
Also on my desk are a set of new stamps that came from Speedy Cat Challenge Blog
when I won some candy - they are lovely stamps and I cannot wait to play
There are two images I have just finished colouring ready to go on some cards
Having tried the other week to choose papers first and then colour
I found that a really difficult way to work even if it is suppose to be done that way
So I have gone back to my way of colour the image how I want and then find what I can to make it work!
May not be the correct way but it works best for me lol

So sorry not to have visited many of you last week
but it was just one of those week that time seemed to have been going at double speed
Thank you all for your lovely encouragement with the inks I will practise some more and hopefully have some good results to show in the future
Will try harder this week but no promises

I didn't even know there is a "correct" way to choose paper and color! Sometimes I do it one way, sometimes the other. It never occured to me that one way might be "incorrect". Hmmm - I say, stay with what you think is right for you.

I've not even picked my inks up again since, s'funny how things go in phases! So long as your method works for you, I think thats the right way to do it (oops nearly slipped into Punch & Judy there!)

I make cards in exactly the same way despite having tried it the "correct" way!!!!

Hello Nicky, lovely tidy desk as usual. I usually colour your way, the image first then find the paper to compliment my colouring. That's because I like to have some ready-stamped and coloured images on hand. I didn't know this was the wrong way :) Elizabeth x #97

Thanks for taking the time to visit me. I can never get around to everyones desk and do every fifth from me up and down the list and everyone else who gets to mine. As we are never the same number it works quite well and I get to see lots of new desks as well as ones I have seen before. You have some lovely stuff on your blog and I always like to look at your desk as I love the fact that it has a history and I like that.

Sorry not a card but I have been working on this, hopefully some cards soon. Anyone who know me knows I am a very organised crafter My promarkers have been driving me mad as they were in a number of different containers and I never seem to pick up the right container, so I decided I needed to sort it This is a CD storage box from Tescos it comes with 100 sleeves to put CD in You can find it HERE  but there are many others out there Being sad I had some Pro markers in my handbag so was able to try them in the shop for size! Each sleeve holds seven promakers and each section comfortable hold 10 sleeves or eleven with a little bit of a squeeze As I said I like things very organised or as my DH says OCD! Promarker Storage Update

As some of you know I tend to be a little bit of an OCD crafter - I like everything to have a place and when I have finished using it that is where it goes. Now when I first started collecting Promarkers I used a travel CD case to transport them and it has worked really well you can see the original  HERE . I then also started to collect some flexi markers and the promarkers brought out some limited edition promarkers so I decided I needed them!        This meant my storage box was no longer large enough so I started to look at ways to improve it I brought a slightly larger box from E-Bay then set to improving the insides I realised if I made some boxes for the pens I could store more in a row, than using the CD sleeves.
