Secret Crafter - Challenge 21

This week's challenge which is set by our lovely creator WENDY: -
TRANSPORT
As always any project as long as some item of transport appears. Remember this is the last chance to enter into this month's draw for £20 voucher from Secret Crafter Shop.

For this challenge I used a template done by Pete on UKscrappers

I cut it with my craft robo mounted it onto mirra card then onto the red cardstock. Finished with a bit of bling and a sentiment.

I felt the Morris said it all on this card so did not want to distract from it.

I had to so a morris as we own two a traveller called Ernie and a convertible called Emily
Well Ernie was lonely and needed a girlfriend!!!

Any comments as always are most welcome

Quick Card

This is a card from a lovely Kanban set my (wicked) stepmother brought me - I love this kit as it makes really nice card quickly and there is always lots of bits left to put onto other cards

So here's what you have to do.......This week I want you to look through your photos of cards you've made in the past, find one you really like then recreate it using the exact same layout but with different papers and embellishments! Of course there must be a Charmed download image in there too! When you've finished, put both cards on your blog so we can look at old and new together and leave a comment here so we can go for a look.

This is my old design I made this card last June for my Stepmum

Colour Create, Dotties World and Di Hickman Challenges

The Challenge on Dotties World this week was set by Adele and she said:

This week I want to see stitching, hand or machine - but REAL stitching, no faux stitching like I am so fond of in my work! You must of course use one of more of the many, wonderful Charmed Downloads but the rest is up to you.

I used the sketch from Di Hickmans Wednesday Challenge

The image is a pre-coloured one from the Rock N Roll collection from Charmed Downloads
I used my little Pro-Craft sewing machine to stitch on the red card at the top and to stitch a red line around the image in the corner.
The Ribbon was from my stash.
I finished the card with my White Glaze pen, but annoyingly I smudged it at the end

We would like you to make your card or project this week using the colours red, white and blue. There is an extra option available which you can use if you wish, although this isn't compulsory. This week's option is 'Holidays and Travel' and I hope that the wonderful Design Team cards will give you the inspiration you need.
I made this little suitcase to hold a gift card in
The template came from Paperthreads and was cut using my Craft Robo
I used my Tria pen to add the faux stitching to the suitcase
Plus I added a label and the ribbon
Thanks for the Challenge to all three sites and do check them out as there are some amazing creations on them.
Sorry to add three together this week but I have been running out of time again this week!!

Cute Thursdays Challenge

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 46
Metallica
Very simple one, use some metal on your card i.e. charms, wire, spacers, eyelets, metal coloured card, fabric or paper etc.
A little while ago over on Dotties World a challenge was set to
use a tutorial from Charmed Crafts.
I made a waterfall card then, but noticed a Jacobs Ladder Tutorial
that I wanted a have a go at. You can see the class HERE
I know its not a card but I hope it fits ok for the challenge,
my metal was the word Family on the front,
and the images are all from Charmed Downloads and the ones I have used here
are the pre-coloured version great for when time is short
Sorry for bad photos a Jacobs ladder is not the best thing to photograph.
My kids love this one and keep flipping it so that it shows there own photos!!

Any comments alway welcome

Cartoon Feet!!!!!!

Just to explain why I have mananged to make a few cards today, as you can see from the photo my son is off his feet at the moment as he had a small operation on Tuesday to sort out his ingrowing toe nails. These bandages make my think of Cartoons when they hurt themselves. Well in between running errands for him I have had some crafting time. Yippe
This is a card I have made using a kit my Stepmum brought me from QVC. I used my own card stock for the base and the Kanban paper to cover. Then to finish I added a ribbon to the little piece at the side of the card. I am quite pleased with the result.

Some Quick Cards, Using Girl About Town Images

The top card uses the Background pre-coloured from the Girls About Town Selection from Charmed Crafts and Cards available here as well as the sentiment and I printed out a black and whit image of the girl. This I coloured using Tria Markers.
The second image again I printed then coloured using Tria markers, then I matted some Paper Mania or Dovecraft shopping bag paper onto brown card and to either side of the card.
To finish I used two speak bubbles that have been in a little tin I brought ages ago, again I think it is Dovecraft or Papermania not sure which.
Any comments gratefully received

Sketch & Stash Challenge 3 and Colour Create Challenge 1

This card has been made for the Colour Create Challenge 1 and Sketch and Stash Challenge 3
Please do click on the links and see the DT cards they are wonderful, much better than mine.
I am not very happy with this on, I feel something is not quite right, but never mind I had a go!
The Colour Create challenge was to use PINK, BROWN and Green, and as an extra butterflies
The sketch came from the Sketch and Stash challenge and the new stash I used was the girl image from Grab-A-Doodle-Do which you can get from Here
I coloured the image using my new Letraset Tria markers which I love and I brought of e-bay at the weekend.
The background papers are paper mania and have been hiding in my stash for ages.
To finish I put three butterfiles down the side.
Please let me know what you think.

Dotties Challenge - Spring is Nearly Here And Saturday Sketchers

Please go over to the sites to look as there are some great DT cards to help give inpsiration.
On my card I have used the image of Scruff in the bath coloured him using my Sukara pens and some pencils. I used 3D Clear gloss on the bubbles, eyes and nose, then mounted it using silicon glue.
The papers used were from my Stash and were in a 6x6 book by K & Company. The little pieces of stripped paper were free with a magazine, and the swirl stickers and the ribbon stickers are by papermania. The dog stickers I cannot remember were I got!
To finish I used word for the text and fixed using 3d foam.
Any comments welcome
