The Older you get........

This card uses a wonderful digi image from Bugaboo which just lends itself to the sentiment 'as you get older you become more like a classic car...your exhaust goes bad when you least expect it!'
I have coloured him using my pro markers and then inked the edges of the image with my brilliance pearlized ink pad.  I also cut the corners with my friskars corner scissors to round them all.  The paper has been in my stash for ages and came from a lovely local craft shop which is sadly no more.

ABC Christmas - E - Evergreen

This card has been done using my Craft Artist on my computer and importing a digi image from Stitchy Bears.  Once the card was printed I then used my flexi markers to colour in the image.  Quite a simple card but I like the effect.

You're Getting Married.....

This card uses a brilliant digi image from Kenny K's, I have coloured them with my pro markers and flex markers. The card I have used as a base is a two tone card so I folded the corner and placed a pearl on to show the different colour. The blue strip at the back of the image is glittered and was in my stash drawer and was the yellow polka dot card.  The sentiment was done using word and then mounted on to plain blue card the same as the image. I finished the card with a metal clip that has the word 'together' embossed on it and some small pearls.  This card is a wedding acceptance to my sister wedding and inside it says '...and we will love to join you on your special day.'

How Does Your Garden Grow?

This card uses the really cute digi freebie from Pollycraft, I have coloured him using my pro markers.  Then cut him out using my craft knife and mounted him on 3d form.  The card has all been done using Craft Artist and Daisy Trail CD's, this is only the second time I have used it and I must be honest I having fun playing and the fact that you can make the papers etc the colour you need is great.  I printed it as a flat card but you could just as easy print out the individual bits and then put them onto the card in the normal way.  This card will be for my mum for mothers day as she loves pottering around in her garden.

Ready to Party

This card is a first for me as I have designed it all on using Craft Artist and some Daisy Trail CD that I brought in the sales just after Christmas.  It has taken until now for me to have the time to put it onto my computer and have a play. Everything is digital, buttons, ribbons and the layers.  The image is a Mo's Digital Pencil one and I coloured her with my pro markers and then cut the image out with my craft knife. For a first attempt I am quite pleased the result.

Simple Card

This card is a very simple card that I made mainly using word.  The image is a digi image from Pollycraft, once I had pasted it into the word program I used the tools to put a light green frame around it.  I then got the definition for spring from google, copied it again into word and used a text box. I changed the font to a more pleasing one and added the word spring in the same green as the frame around the image. Finally I put the sentiment on.  Once printed I coloured the image using my pro markers.

Never to Early for Christmas

This card uses a digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil, I think this one is so cute.  I have coloured him with my pro markers and then added a little glitter glue on the hat. I then distressed the edges with a ivy coloured pearlized brilliance ink pad, added a white mat behind then some of the green fabric effect paper that I did paper tearing. Again the same green paper at the edges with the torn effect. The papers came from my stash and I have had them so long I cannot remember even where I brought them.

Snoopy

This is a special card I made for my friends sons 30th birthday.  I used a wonderful MTC cutter file available from the MTC gallary.  I cut out the snoopy kennel using my ecraft machine and cut out two of each shape so that I could mount them together using 3d foam so there was a gap in the middle.  When cutting the mat for the kennels it always has the snoopy shape on the top, because I wanted it to be the Snoopy that you used to open the card, I trimmed him off the top.  Then cut another black mat that I trimmed to be used as a card to slide inside the kennel.  I then cut all the shaped to make the Snoopy and added two pockets to the card part where my friend could put the money she wanted to give her son. I added some images and words for the pockets. I made card double sided so it did not matter which way it was taken out the envelope and the finished size was just a little smaller that A4. Her son was chuffed to bits with the card as Snoopy was his favourite childhood character.

Rock Girl

This card uses a Pollycraft image that I have coloured using my promarkers and gel glaze pens. I then cut the image using my nestablilies circle dies on my big shot and also a border out of the black glittered card.  The grey and yellow paper is core-dinations card that I tore to show a little distressing. The sentiment I did on word and then again used my circle dies to cut and mat them. Finally I finished with some small back and yellow buttons - inside the card it say 'You Rock!'.
