Happy Anniversary

Image
This card uses a pre-coloured image for speed The sentiment was done in word The green papers are all from my snippets box. The one with green swirls was not big enough to cover the front So I cut and put the ones with squares in the gap Another bit of green snippet was used for the matting of the sentiment This card is for the following challenges: Pixies Snippet Playground - Use you Snippets Though the Craftroom Door - Anything Goes Sparkles Challenge - Spring is in the Air Challenge up Your Life - Animals Thanks for looking

Inksmooching

Image
This was a very new technique for me inksmooshing! After a quick google I worked out you put ink on your mat. Spritz it with a little water. Then use a piece of plastic to move the ink onto the card. My first attempt ended up as a brown mess and was put in the bin. This was my second attempt and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I then mounted it onto a piece of purple card and onto a card blank. This card is for the following challenges: Challenge up You life ~ Inksmooshing A bit more time to craft  ~ Anything Goes Crafting with Attitude ~ Anything goes    Thanks for looking

Toadly In Love!

Image
This card uses a great digi image from Whimsy Stamps . I have coloured them using my Chameleon Pens. I have then mounted them onto a scrap of red sparkle card. As soon as I saw this image I knew the sentiment I wanted to put with it. I printed this out from word and again mounted it onto the red sparkle card.  I have so many stripes of this left over from the Christmas cards I made this year. The background card is a small piece of a 12x 12 sheet I had left over.  I trimmed it so it fitted top and bottom and the image covers the gap. This is my valentine card for my DH we don't do really soppy having been together now 31 years. Plus valentines day is our DD birthday so romance on that day tends to be forgotten in favor of Birthday celebrations!  This card is for the following challenges: Cardz for Men ~ Something beginning with T (Toads) Moving Along with the Times ~ Add a Sentiment Challenge Up your Life ~ Love is in the air Craft Rock...
