Arm Chair Sports!

This card uses a new digi stamp I have brought of Mo's Digital Pencil.  I love this image and it reminds me so much of my son when he comes in from school.  The image is coloured using my promarkers and then mounted onto blue and red card from my stash.  The strip of black glitter card is from a DCWV paper pad that was left over from the last card.  The script paper comes from my Papermania pad its a mans world that I have had for ages.  The sentiment was done in word.  It was a free choice of sketches from the Sketch N Stash catalogue and I choose this one

Hello Birthday Boy!

This card uses a great digi image from Kenny K's - she is coloured using my promarkers and I did a little bit of decoupage on her arm/top.  This card is for my sons birthday tomorrow from his older sister, a long time ago we were watching Euro Vision and there was lots of ladies dancing in not a lot of clothing, when my daughter asked her brother what he thought he said 'nice boots' which we all thought was very funny.  Inside the verse just says 'nice boots'.   The glittered black paper comes from a DCVW paper pad that I brought cheap in Hobby Craft the other paper was from my stash.  I finished the card with three white buttons and some blue gems.

Hard Father's Day

Like lots of people I find fathers day a very hard time as I lost my dad in 2008 to a sudden heart attack.  As time goes on you think things will get easier and the longing to speak to him to pass but it doesn't you just learn to live without.  Whilst I was doing fathers day cards for my father in law and others I came across this poem and thought it was lovely - it doesn't have a name on it so I do not know who wrote it but I thought others might like it.

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If Love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In Life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

Fathers Day part 3

This card uses a freebie digi image that I have had for ages, sorry I cannot remember the lovely blogger who shared it.  I have coloured them with my promarkers and used my blender pen to add a slight effect. The papers have all come from my stash.  The scalloped bit was a left over from a Kanban sheet, ribbon was in my stash but was black and pink so I used my promarkers to change it an orange colour.  Sentiment was done in word and inside the card it says '... yes it's all your fault! Happy Fathers Day'.

Fathers Day part 2

This card uses some lovely shiny paper that looks like denim. The image was from Google images and I thought it was just right for a lazy fathers day card. The sentiment was done using word and then printing it out. I have layers the sentiment and the image onto red, white and blue card using my perfect layers rulers.

Fathers Day Part 1

This is a quick and simple card - its uses the bike image from a Kanban set I was brought ages ago mounted onto a piece of mirror board. The map paper comes from an old A-Z of London my friend brought me for a £1.   The sentiment and background colour to the sentiment was done using my Daisy Trail software on my PC and printing it out.

This card is for the following Challlenges
