Little Birdie

This card uses on image from Bugaboo which justs makes me smile because he looks grumpy.
I have coloured him with my Chameleon pens.
Then mounted him onto a scrap piece of black card.
The heart and dot paper is one piece which is doublesided so I just cut it and turned it round.
The Happy Birthday strip was a bit again from my snippets box.
The three strips mounted onto another piece of black card also came from the snippets box.
I then matted the tag onto a bit of black and finished with a few gems.

Birthday Candles

For this card I used a scrap of white card and then die cut it.
Before removing the tonic candle die I used my glitter pen to highlight the flame.
The Happy Birthday is also a tonic verso die.
I then stuck it onto a piece of the ombre card l brought yesterday.
This is a very simple card but I am pleased with how it turned out.

Afternoon Tea Voucher

I made this box card using a brilliant cutting file from SVG Cuts
I used my Brother Scan and Cut to  out all the pieces.
Also using the drawing feature to write the sentiment on the white panel.
I made this as my sister wants to take her daughter- in-law out for a cream tea to celebrate her birthday.
This file was perfect and the voucher is on the back panel.
The bonus with box cards is the fold flat.

Toadly In Love!

This card uses a great digi image from Whimsy Stamps.
I have coloured them using my Chameleon Pens.
I have then mounted them onto a scrap of red sparkle card.
As soon as I saw this image I knew the sentiment I wanted to put with it.
I printed this out from word and again mounted it onto the red sparkle card.
I have so many stripes of this left over from the Christmas cards I made this year.
The background card is a small piece of a 12x 12 sheet I had left over.
I trimmed it so it fitted top and bottom and the image covers the gap.
This is my valentine card for my DH we don't do really soppy having been together now 31 years. Plus valentines day is our DD birthday so romance on that day tends to be forgotten in favor of Birthday celebrations!

Sweet Jars

I thought I would share the sweet jars I made for my daughters Wedding, but I forgot to blog them at the time.
I brought the jars from Amazon as we wanted sweets on the tables.
I then used a thin tape in the Cadburys purple that was the colour throughout.
I then cut an silhouette image of Mickey and Minnie with their tails making a heart.
These were then stuck on the front and back.
finally they were filled with sweets and placed on the tables.

They went down very well.
