If you wonder why I have uploaded photos of my desk and drawer pop over to
and have a nose around the world at what our fellow crafter have been up to!
I had a great trip around last week and managed to visit everyone.
Sorry for the photos this week its nearly 10.00am here and its still dark, grey and murky.
On my desk this week is the start of some wedding invitations
A friend at work is getting married next year and after I gave her one of my homemade
Christmas cards she asked if I could do her wedding invitations.
She has an idea that she has described to me that I have done and I am also doing a couple of other options for her so she can choose which one she wants.
In the photo above you can see one of the pull out shelves that makes my desk bigger when I need to spread out more - there is one either side
easily. As you can see there is my rolls of tape, glue, 3d foam, peel offs and stickers.
There is also a stamp with a splodge person and my name that I put on the back of anything I make.
Hope you have enjoyed a little look into my crafting world
I wish everyone a very
Happy New Year and a Great 2011
See you next year!

Oh i don't envy you, i did my best friends wedding invites and boy was it hard going.. my advice if you've not done a mass order before is to start them real early and do it in stages so as not to get totally fed up with it all.
Happy WOYWW and wishing you a very happy new year x

Ooooh Nicky, I'm always so envious of your neat and tidy work desk (and drawers) when I stop by here *sigh*
I'm #20 on the WOYWW list this week. Stop by if you don't mind seeing a not so neat and tidy work desk! :)
And a Happy *almost* New Year to you!!
Looks great, love the pull out drawer top. Happy New Year. #64

Okay, I'd make this comment longer but after looking at that drawer I realize that I simply MUST go and attempt to get organized before the New Year sets in. Have a safe and prosperous one. Hauoli makahiki hou from AmberInk (#1)

Love your desk as usual. I'm not sure I'm up to wedding invitations, in fact I'm sure I'm not - all that repetition is not for me! However, that doesn't stop me being filled with admiration for you for doing them :) Wishing you a year filled with health, wealth and happiness. Elizabeth #57
So neat and tidy and organised.

As always, I am in love with your desk :) Thanks for visitng me last week! I don't have a WOYWW post this week, that is how far behind I am, I lost a whole day somewhere in the last week, lol!
I love the dog figure you have on your desk, can you tell me about it sometime when you get a chance?
xoxo karen (no number this week)
You are so organized! I love it. Love the dog on your desk. #75
Yes, I know I'm late getting here. I thought I had been here, but when I had to reboot, I lost track of where I was and now it's 2011 already. Took me a whole year to reach you (grin). But I still love that very stylish desk. It is one place where I could make art, since I'm such a neat freak.
I would make the cards in assembly line fashion. I would figure out step 1 through step last, then do everything for step 1 before heading off to step two. That's how I beat the boredom. Otherwise, they will become tedious rather than fun. Happy New Year and I'll see you on Wednesday.
