After my showing off last week of visiting all the desk I think I only managed about 30 this week
but I still enjoyed the nosey round - hopefully I will have more time this week!
Well on my workdesk this week is not a lot!
This week has been a really busy one and my crafting has taken a bit of back seat
It was all for a good reason as I have been spoilt for the last 3 days
because it was my 40th Birthday
I had shopping treat, meals visits from family and lots of lovely presents
On present is to visit some craft shops in the New Year with spending money!
Another is a Falconry experience day
I am also being taken by my friend to Germany on Saturday for the day
to see the German Christmas Markets
Really excited as I have only been abroad a couple of times and never to Germany
See said I had been spoilt
The drawer I am showing this week is my drawer that sits in the centre of my desk under my main craft area
Its a large drawer and as you can see I use it hold some 12 x 12 papers
Plus all my odds and sods so that its easy to grab when I am crafting
I will show you my main paper storage later on
the parts I have been waiting for arrived on Saturday
I had Monday of work so lapped the values and replaced the cylinder head gasket
and put him back together
The above picture is of the back workbench and tool board of the garage
With Ernie's head waiting to be refitted and the oily rags that so many people asked to see!
A bit of mess, but as you see even my tools I like organised just like my crafting, the spaces are the tools I was using at the time to fix the car,
The little blue stool is because I am a little vertically challenged and is just the right size
for me to be able to reach the roof of my Morris when I am cleaning him for a show
Or to sit on when working on brakes etc lol
So Ernie has now left the warmth of the garage and let his little girlfriend
Emily the Morris Convertible back into the warmth
If you are wondering why on earth I am showing you a clear craft desk and my garage workbenchs then hop over to the fabulous Julia blog Stamping Ground have a nose around and if you feel like it share you space
Thanks for Looking

Happy Birthday Nicky! WOW! Even your garage is tidy...I think you'd pass out if you saw my Hubby's shed! I don't venture over to it very often. I have a doorbell to ring if I want his attention (we live on a 1 acre block and his shed is up at the back of it)

I remember helping my dad grind some valves for our Morris 1000 many years ago!
Your garage is tidier than my workdesk will ever be! What a great birthday for you. Life begins at 40 so enjoy!
You'll love the German Weinachtsmarkt just remember to ask for the gluhwein "Mit Rhum"... much nicer but go easy!!! (that's "with rum" just incase you can't guess)
Happy Birthday

I want to come play in your GARAGE. I'm a tool freak, too, and love how you have your wrenches organized. Glad the part came in for Ernie and it is well on its way to being repaired. Don't worry, I had trouble getting to people last week, too. Christmas is like that. I can't believe you can just pop into Germany like it's nothing. It's practically unthinkable here in the states (#4).
Happy birthday. What a wonderful treat to go to the German Christmas markets. They are really beautiful and worth the journey!

I am so impressed with the work on Ernie's innards. And a new head gasket - that's major surgery!
Hope you have had a lovely time with those birthday treats. German markets too - sounds like a brilliant time.

Congratulations on your big four-O birthday, sounds like you had a great time celebrating. DH and I are glad to hear Ernie is well and on the move again and Emily has come in from the cold. Elizabeth #71
You deserve such treats. As it's sunday I bet you're pooped from yesterday! The markets are such fun. Good news about Ernie - well done! I was unsurprised to see your garage work bench as prefectly organised as your craft table..it's a skill you know.
