WOYWW 85

Its that time of week again
It's Wednesday and thanks to Julia that means
we can go all over the world nosing at peoples craft spaces
If you have not got a clue what its all about pop over to
Stamping Ground - have a look around you will be amazed a what you will find
On my desk this week is my card I am making for the Wednesday Bugaboo Mini Challenge
If you want to see if I will post it later
You can also see my new paper trimmer - this was a treat because I broke my purple cow cutter
and this on is a Pink Finger Guard trimmer - its great and takes up less space
Now the picture above is all Julias fault
Since I have joined WOYWW Julia has mentioned her glass cutting mat just a few time
I looked at them in the craft shops and although not really expensive more than I wanted to pay
Then I went in BHS (Department store in Britian) and there was this kitchen
glass top chopping board - thats also heat resistant
Best of it was reduced from £12 to £4.80 - Bargain
and it got pink on it
lol

The drawer this week is inside my desk under the roll top
This one is on the left hand side
It hold my scissors, my Its Sew Easy Tool
and decorative blades for my paper trimmer
Oh and my distressing tool just peeping out
Above are two little drawers that hold my ATC backs and Blanks
You can also see a little leather book - this was given to my Dad when he was 21yrs old
Its a birthday book and I now use it since to keep dates in

Thanks for looking and all your lovely comments

x Nicky x

As usual I'm so envious of that desk - it's so beautiful. And you have a pink glass mat with cupcakes on it too. I'm now doubly jealous : ) I think it is wonderful that you still have and use your father's birthday book. Regards, Elizabeth #78

Hiya Nicky, love your wooden drawers - very old skool!

In answer to your question about the ribbon pegs, I bought a pack of those really tiny elastic hair bands from ebay and they are perfect for keeping the ribbon on the pegs. I also use a glue dot when I start winding it onto the peg, just to hold it in place. Happy ribbon sorting!

I often have to find things that will work but were not really made for craft because they dont get sold out here in turkey.

My trimmer was the best ever buy for me. Nice straight cuts now every time. What a super saving you made in British Home Stores. Good job you saw it first and not me. Are you another must be Pink fan?

Thanks for stopping by! Yes, the pink pen is fun. It writes a bit finer than I'd like, but - since DD gave it to me, it's free!!

It looks like you have a huge double box of markers, on the left of your photo. What kind are they??
