Anyone who knows me will know that cooking is not my best activity, I do not enjoy and do not achieve very good results.
As it is my sons 16th Birthday today his sister wanted me to make a cake that she could hide presents in.
On the SVG's Cuts website I saw this pattern for a birthday cake box.
I cut 8 boxes on my ecraft and put them all together - then 8 candles and flames where cut and assembled
The top of the each slices lifts off and inside she had put money, sweets and little treats
I think it is the best cake I have every made!
Luckily my mum is a wonderful cook and my son had requested a
Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate Cake!!
She baked a round chocolate fudge cake and a small square one
iced them in chocolate , then decorated with rolos, chocolate orange,M&M's, Magic Stars, white chocolate buttons and mint matchmakers.
It is not a cake that you want to big a slice but it is very yummy
Can you guess that my dear son a slight sweet tooth!!
The paper cake is for the following challenges:
Thanks for looking

Both cakes are fabulous. I missed that particular die at svgcuts. I especially like the center where you can see a layer...how clever. You made 8 of them. Wow...I did two that are similar and was tired...haha
Your mum's cake is my kind of cake...just like your son's sweet tooth...chocolate chocolate chocolate! A lot of time, thought, and love went into it!
