The challenge on Christmas Cards All Year Round for May is to make 5 cards with Flowers, Ribbons and Buttons I thought I would have finished these earlier in the month but oops life got in the way again So here I am with a few hours of May left putting them on my blog Will try harder in June The card at the top and the middle row left on have already been put on my blog as I made these earlier in the month The next three cards all use pre-coloured images from Charmed Crafts The one with Santa on using flowers made on my craft robo and sticky Christmas ribbons and Do Craft small buttons The next two use normal ribbon and flowers from my stash with small Do Craft buttons in the centres Papers all from my stash Thanks for Looking

Sorry no posts this week, but I have been away for a few days with my mum If anyone is near Cardiff I can highly recommend St Fagans we had a great day there, also at Slimbridge Wetlands which was fantastic. I will try and catch up on some of the challenges soon But I must finish my Christmas Cards All Year Round for this month so much for getting them done early lol

This is my first ever 'Tent Card' The image is from Sassy Studio Designs Again coloured using my Promarkers The hole and the image were cut using my circle nestabilities The papers are from a new pad I got in sales at British Book Shop Its a Papermania Pad called Deck the Halls Poinsettia I made on my craft robo Buttons from local craft shop Sticky ribbon from Stash Ribbon used to hang Christmas Kiss is a tie from one of my jumpers! This card I struggled with just because part of the sketch is on an angle! Just a quick update: Those of you who follow will know that I am being made redundant after 15 years working for the same company. Well I wrote me first CV ever and applied for a couple of jobs, went for a couple of interviews and I have now been offered a job. Its a bit further away and slightly longer hours but it sounds interesting and more importantly its a JOB!! Yippee!! Its a really load of my shoulders now Thanks for all your support though this time it really has helped XXX

This card using an image and sentiment from Bugaboo Stamps - Gus & Stella I have made this card for my DH its our 18th Anniversary on 16th May (no we don't quite look like the image - yet!) The background paper is from papermania The strip are black paper that I sprayed using the Cosmic shimmers I won on the Sketch Saturday blog a couple of weeks ago This is my first attempt any hints on how to use greatly received! This card uses the wonderful image from Mo's Digital Pencil 'Big Guy Grilling' He is so like a friend of mine who bar-b-que and always goes on about having Chef Hands normally just before he burns them lol! I said was going to try and get my challenge cards for Christmas cards all year round done early this month well here my first one !
