Ewe Make Me Smile

This card uses a lovely digi image from Pink Gems Designs, I have coloured her using my promarkers and flex markers.  She is then mounted onto a piece of blue card, the same as the piece in the corner.  Behind the   Ewe is some script paper that I have had in my stash for ages.  Ribbon is from hobbycraft as are the little blue gem.  The paper is it all mounted on is from a kit I brought from QVC ages ago.

Still Cool!

This card uses a digi image from Sassy Cheryl, he is coloured using my promarkers and my neon markers.  I do not really use Halloween cards so I decided to use a Halloween image and change it for a birthday card. The paper at the back is glittered card from DCWV, the purple paper is pearlized and the orange is from the papermill shop.  I cut the corners using my friskars corners scissors. The sentiment was done in word and cut out.  Inside the card the sentiment says - ... it is just not so obvious!  Happy Birthday.

Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Its nearly Wednesday - well its 11.45pm on Tuesday evening!
Its means it time for Whats on My Workdesk Wednesday - if you have not got a clue what I am on about pop over to the Queen of Desks
This will be short and sweet (abit like me) above is my desk as I was making some cards this evening, you can see some thank you cards to the left I have made my sister in the same style as the wedding stationary I made, a card  for a challenge, an image coloured ready to go on another card and my challenge pad. Oh and under my tape gun are the Christmas images still waiting to be finished
Close up of the card I am just sorting out how I am doing before sticking down
This is my desk once I have finished crafting this evening - all tidy ready to be used again.  I have a long day tomorrow - up at 5.45am for work then straight to DS school for a evening about the sixth form to see if he wants to go, should get home about 8.30pm - Do not think I will find much time to craft some how
This is Stanley who sits on the sofa next to my craft desk while I craft - although he does moan if it gets to late and he wants to go upstairs to bed!
Have a great week
Thanks for visiting

Hound Dog

This card uses a really cute digi image from Karens Doodles, she is coloured using my promarkers then matted onto a piece of kraft card using my perfect layers rulers. The paper behind the image is some of my coredinations card, one piece has been torn to show the inner core, the other is matted onto a piece of kraft card.  The sentiment came in a Docrafts goodie bag I brought a few months ago and I edges it using my chocolate brilliance ink pad.

This card uses a digi image from Karens Doodles, I just love the faces of these pups.  I have coloured it using my promarkers then matted into black and orange card.  Again cut using my perfect layers rulers.  The paw print paper I have had for ages and was brought from a local craft shop.  The strip of black and silver paw print came from a kanban sheet.  The sentiment was done on my brother labeller and then matted the same as the image, finishing touch was some light orange square gems.

Pink & Black Birthday

On this card I have used a digi image from Kenny K's and coloured her using my promarkers.  I have then used some glittered paper from a DCWV Madly in Love pad.  I love this paper as the little square with the hearts and skulls on are all glittered.  The sentiment is one from a QVC sticker set I brought ages ago, the pink card that is the base card and used on the mat is also a glittered card but the camera doesnt seem to pick this up very well, finally the card was finished with some pink gems.

Pressie for You

This card uses one of Sassy Cheryl's digi images - she is coloured using my promarkers and a little bit of glitter added for effect. I then cut her out using my spellbinder label dies in my big shot. She is then matted and layered onto orange and black card. The black bit behind her is a sample of wallpaper from the local DIY store, must pop back as I have run out now.  Finally she is finished with a sentiment which is a sticker set I brought from QVC a few ago.

Cakes

This card uses a lovely digi image from Stitchy Bears Stamps - I love this image and the sentiment is so my cooking.  The papers all came from a craft magazine, he is coloured using my promarkers including some of the new limited edition winter promarkers (loving these).  The inspiration for this card all came from the Tuesday Throwdown challenge.  This week they have a photo and the theme Tea at Grannys -  made me think of my nan and now my mum who makes cakes for the  Grandkids and I realised that if I ever get grandkids I better learn how to bake - my husband tends to cook here lol.

Bee Happy

This card uses a digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  This little flower fairy is coloured using my promarkers and the promarker  blender pen so soften some of the colours.  I then used my circle spellbinder die to draw around to make the oval shape and cut it using my scissors, the mat was just trimmed to fit.  The swirly yellow card came from a Papermania pad which I then mounted onto black and then yellow card.  I cannot remember where the black/grey flower paper came from. The large piece of black at the back is a piece of wallpaper I took a liking to in B&Q's so brought a sample home. Perfect way to pick up scraps for card making. Finally I did the sentiment on my brother labeller and then cut freehand the mats for it.

Autumn Fun

This card uses a really cute digi image from Karen Doodles.  He is coloured using my promarkers, then cut out with my big shot and spellbinders circle dies as was the mat.  The ribbon came off a chocolate box (the chocolates disappeared ages ago!). The oak leave at the bottom was from a digi children colouring page and I just repeated the image five times and again coloured with my promarkers.  The sentiment was in my stash and was the wrong colour so I inked it with my brilliance pearlized chocolate ink pad.  Finally finished with the square gems.

Sweet Sixteen

This card uses a digi image from Kenny K's.  She is coloured using my promarkers, then cut out on my big shot using my oval spellbinders.  The sentiment was done in word then printed onto smooth card.  I used my perfect layers rulers to mat and layer the sentiment onto a piece of glitter pink card.  This is then mounted onto white card that is ridge, I trimmed the corners with my fiskars corner scissors and the added some pink gems for some sparkle. I quite like the clean and simple lines of this card.

Halloween Tree

This card used a digi image from Bugaboo.  I have just outlined the tree with my pumpkin coloured promarkers and also coloured the pumpkin and the owl with the same pen.  I then used my big shot to cut out the mats using my spellbinders dies.  As I do not like to waste my card I cut the middle out to used on other cards later.   The Jack O lantern paper was a free download from Vector Free that I then printed out, the scalloped paper was cut using my Woodware trimmer.  A quick and simple card but I am quite pleased with the result.

Happy Birthday

This uses a new digi image I brought from Sassy Cheryls - that cheesy grin made me smile.  I have coloured her using my promarkers - including some of my new limited edition ones.  I then cut her out using my spellbinders label die and an oval layer for behind using my x-cut oval dies in my big shot.  I  used my brilliance pearlized ink pads to add a bit of distressing.  The striped paper behind was in my stash and I cannot remember where it came from.  The other card is coredinations that I tore using my ruler to add a slightly feathered edge. Finally I finished it with some small docrafts little buttons and sentiment.

On my desk you can see the cards I have been making over the past week. The picture is very dark even with all the living room lights on plus it was taken with my iphone.  Below is the picture of my work desk where I will spending most the day - hopefully when I get home I will feel ok to have a play
