Special Day

This card uses an image from one of the Little Books
I love the look of watercolourd images in these books
I mounted it onto a piece of green card
The bird paper was from a set I brought from QVC ages ago
The sentiment is from a set by Docrafts
Again I matted this with the green card

This card is for the following challenges:

Thanks for looking

Aaahhh, this is just adorable! Your green is a wonderful colour choice for this image. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges!

Hi Nicky, spotted your comment and am hoping that sweet Stanley is doing fine. I went through similar with a Bichon a good few years ago. He recovered really well but did need soft food at first - much as we humans do I guess. I try to brush Dudley's teeth with special stuff and a rubber finger thingy - but am not sure how good it is plus it's a battle of course. Want to get him used to it before his baby teeth are replaced by his big boy ones :)

We're feeding a neighbour's semi-feral cat right now - she's an old lady but the humans do need their twice yearly cruises and won't put her into a cattery, despite a 20 plus girl living at home. Good for you though looking after their cattery - you deserve a medal! When they got two more cats in the Summer, making it up to four with a rota of feeding times several times a day due to odd needs and differences and places around their house, plus the addition of litter trays I had to say 'no more' - after 20 plus years of their cats. So another neighbour does the bulk of it but we do still feed Penny who almost lives on our front door step anyhow - she's under shelter and quite cosy so is as happy as an outdoor cat can be - on her terms!

Lovely card btw!!
