I was asked by a friend at work if I could make a card and
decorate a candle for his dads 80th Birthday
He is a bowler so thats the theme we went with
I used a digi image from just-ink-lined
I coloured the image with my promarkers
The papers are all glittered papers that came from a DCWV All Dressed Up pad
The sentiment was done in word and then cut using my spellbinder dies in my ebosser
I used the bowler image along with a clipart Happy Birthday border to make an insert
For the candle I used the same image again
This time I printed into on to tissue paper
and then colour it with my promarkers
I then upcycled an old box to hold the candle
Using papers from my stash and some DCWV ribbon
Finally I made a matching envelope using the same paper I used to cover the box
I made the enveloper on my DCWV envelope board
I love this little board it is so easy to use
I finished the envelope of with a piece of white card
The corners where trimmed off using my fiskars corners scissors
and finally I used some gold ink to just distress the edges a little
This set is for the following challenges:
Thanks for looking
