Its Been Too Long....

Wow how has so much time flown by since I last blogged
No excuses just very busy at work and at home
and we were preparing for the Goodwood Revival Meeting
Which was a fantastic long weekend

Well I am back with a project and also to  thank all who have stayed with me
x
This project was made for a friend to give as wedding gift
I made the box by hand
To finish the box I used some silk ribbon
(the ties from dresses!)
The image on the candle is from Charmed Cards & Crafts
and is coloured using my promarkers
onto tissue paper
I then used greaseproof paper to hold the image in place
and heated it my heat gun until the tissue paper dissappered into the candle
This picture shows the front of the candle and the front of the gift tag
The gift tag uses the pre- coloured image that came with the set
This is the rear of candle again the image on the candle was coloured using my promarkers
and the image on the gift tag was the precoloured image
I have had this digital image of George & Dottie for ages now and still love it

I am using this project for the following challenges

Pollycraft - Tag or Bookmarks
Passion for Promarkers - Planes, Trains or Automobiles
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Simply Create - Older than 6mths

Hope to be back with a card later as well

Thanks for Looking

x Nicky x
