Two Christmas Cards

H- Is for Hang it Up

This card used some Kanban papers
I simply trimmed down the word and then cut the bauble sheet so its could be used top and bottom.
I finished with some little strips of glitter card to hide the seams

I for Intricate

I used a couture snowflake die to cut out the shapes from white paper
Then mounted them all onto the pale blue paper
Finally finished with a sentiment.

Using the Foil Quill Pen

I made this card on my Brother Scan and Cut
I used it first to cut the circles from a white piece of A5 card
Then I used my new We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill Pen to write the word Birthday.
I had some snippets of red and yellow card in my box so I used these to foil the letters for HAPPY
Then I placed the red and yellow piece behind the holes and stuck them down.
Finally I mounted it all onto a piece of A5 red sparkle card and put it on card blank.

Daffodils Mean Spring

The image is out of one of the Chameleon Pads.
I coloured it with my chameleon pens.
Then cut image out on my scan n cut leaving a small border.
The strips are bits of off cuts from a diary I made my DD.
I finished it with a docrafts sentiment tag.

Using the Positive

On my previous card I used some strips from some off cuts
and the negative from my happy birthday cut on my scan n cut.
These bits where left on my desk and I thought without any work
they would make a good card.
I simply layered the off cuts and the stuck on the sentiment.
Waste not want not lol

Bright Birthday

This was a very quick and simple card made this morning.
I used a scrap of white card to stick 1cm strips of snippets.
I then used a snippet of black and cut the happy birthday out
on my scan n cut, the positive I will use on another card later.
But I used the negative on this one.
Finally I trimmed it to fit and stuck it on the card.

Crafting has been a little slow of late as I've been so busy and now a new distraction happened on Monday,  my DD in-laws dog had Puppies. Their other dog is also due anytime and puppies are so cute and so good at wasting time lol

There are seven in this litter, this is them at on day one.

Hubby's Birthday

For my hubby's birthday I brought him new glasses.
I wanted a Card to reflect this and saw one like this on google no thought I could do that!
I stamped the glasses and cut them out.
Then used word to create the 'age test'.
I then put a bit of blue card on my card base and then 'eye test'.
The glasses were mounted onto 3D foam and placed at the top.
This is a quick and simple card but I am pleased with how it worked out.

Winning the Race!

This is a card I made for my father in law from my hubby
The sentiment and image and did in word and the printed it
The image was a free one from clipart.
I then used ink to edge the card and mounted it onto the blue checked paper.
Inside it says:

Bet you still can't believe I won!

He found it very funny.

Have a Wild Time

This card was made using a clear stamp I brought from Ally Pally yesterday.
It's the first I have been as don't do well in crowds but it was fun.
I stamped him using some distress inks.
Then I used my waterbrush to bleed out the colour a little.
The glasses came in the same set, I stamped this in black.
Then again used a blue distress ink with the water brush to colour them.
I then used my Spellbinder dies in my Todo to cut the oval.
I cut the ears of the giraffe so I could shape them over the edge.
Finally I finished with the sentiment.
