Fireman Birthday Card

Image
This card uses a pre-coloured image from Polkadoodles . The sentiment I did in word then printed it. I then used some red and yellow card to create mats. Finally I put them all on to the red card. Again a very simple card but right for a 3 year old I think. This card is for the following Challenges: Crafting by Designs ~ Layer it up Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges ~ Anything Goes 2 Sisters on the blog ~ a figure on your cards A bit more time to craft ~ Anything Goes . Thank you for taking the time to look at my creations

Wedding Card

Image
This is the card I made my daughter and son in law  for their wedding. Their theme had been a tree of love hearts. I found this tree on Esty with the love hearts growing from it and loved the bride and groom in the centre. I added their name and then cut it out on my Scan and Cut. I cut it in white card and then mounted the cadburys purple behind it. Very simple, but effective and they loved it. This card is for the following challenges: Always fun challenges ~ Wedding or Anniversary Through the Craft Room Door ~ Anything Goes Simon Says Challenge ~ Have a Hearts . Moving along With the Times ~ Have a heart . My Time to Craft ~ All you need is love . Thanks for taking the time to look at my creations

Tales as old as Time

Image
Something different from the usual cards I make. I have been thinking of trying the glass block ideas I've seen in shops. However I was struggling to find the block suitable for crafting  and I had this deep frame sitting around. I brought some little led lights that are powered by battery I cut the image out using my Scan and Cut simply from black vinyl. Then stuck it onto the front of the glass, I fitted a piece of gold mirror card behind. The put the lights into the frame mounting the battery box at the back on Velcro. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. This is for the following challenges: Simon Say Stamp Monday Challenge - Recycle something - the deep frame Pennys Paper Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes Simon Says - Clean and Simple Crafting with Attitude - Anything Goes Thanks for looking

Left Overs Christmas Card

Image
This card uses a decoupage image I have had in my stash for ages. All the papers you might notice are the left over bits from the other Christmas Cards I made earlier this month. The bits have been sat on my desk for a couple of weeks waiting to be put together,  but time has just run away with me. I am blaming DH for having just over a week off and disturbing my craft time lol. This card is for the following challenges: Pixies Snippet Playground - use your snippets Craft Rocket Challenge - Winter Challenge up Your Life - Mood Board I used for inspiration Through the Craftroom Door - Anything Goes Christmas Kickstart Challenge - Bundle Up Thanks for Looking
