Half a Century

This card uses a digi image for Mo's Digital Pencil

She is coloured using my promarkers

The card base and letters I designed and cut using my MTC software and Ecraft

The colours of the paper do not really show up but they are green polka dots

I used faux stitching around the letter and the border of the image

The sentiment I saw on a card on Dotty Jo's blog - Just A Dotty Pudding 

and thought it was perfect for my friends half a century birthday

Today would also have been my Dad's 70th Birthday

So in his memory my mum, sisters, daughter and me

 went down to Dunge where he worked and released a balloon

and had some Wholenut Chocolate as that is what we brought him every year

Still miss him even after nearly 6 years but know he with us in many ways

B is for Bobby

This card was made a few weeks ago for little boy who loves basketball

My DS and his friend brought him a new basketball and hoop for his birthday

The image is from Bugaboo and is coloured with promarkers

I then used my spellbinder dies to cut the circles as mats

The star was cut free hand and I mounted it onto the large polka dots paper

Clean and Simple

I was poorly last night so am off work today

Thought I would post a card I made for DD BF

He is a bass guitarist and I wanted something simple

I knew that when he opened this card he would roll his eyes

Which makes me laugh as much as the play on words

The treble clef was from clip art and the sentiment done in word

Very Late WOYWW more like Friday!!

We have been very short staffed at work so things have been a bit hectic

Today was the first chance I had to play

Thought I would show that I can get in mess

If you dont have clue what this is all about pop to the Queen of Desk HERE

So you every say something that you then end up doubting yourself

My friends who run Aristocats Cattery lost their sign in the storms

In the New Year - I said if you get the base I will renew it for you

Today I was given the base - I had already brought some sign vinyl of ebay

Then used my Ecraft to cut all the words etc

I had to make a stablizer mat 12" by 40" it was rather large

I am quite pleased with the finished results

Football

This card used a digi image from Charmed Crafts

He is coloured using my promarkers

Then matted and layered onto Red, Yellow and Black card

I did the same with the sentiment

The football paper is an off cut from a paper pad called its a Mans World by Papermania

The Manchester United badges were from the web then printed and cut our

I used my friskars corner scissors to make the rounded

WOYWW - Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday

I have not joined in to WOYWW desk for a little while as life as been rather hectic.

If you have never heard of this pop over to the Queen of Desks Julias blog HERE and join the nosey fun!

But as its DH birthday today and we have another hospital appointment for him I have the day off

So have spent until the early hours crafting so thought I would share my desk at different stages of play

As you can see I am still a tidy crafter and a I finish each card I put away what I have used!

I then cut him out leaving a slight bit of white around the edge

The background paper was from the bargain bin in Hobbycraft

All I have done is used my ebosser with the spellbinders oval dies to cut the hole

This card uses an image from Doctor Digi

I coloured him using my promarkers

Then used my Ebosser with my spellbinders nestabilities circle dies to cut the image

I cut his legs of as I wanted to highlight the drill

He was then simply matted and layered

The sentiment was done in word and then mounted onto some orange card

Funny Easter Bunny

This card uses a digi image from Bugaboo

I have cut three of the images and coloured them using my promarkers

Then have then been matted onto a piece of plain card

Then again onto the the green patterned card

This has then been put on the spotty card 

and the final mat is again a piece of  the plain card

The ribbon is Anitas Sticky Ribbons

The sentiment was done in word and the matted on the same card

I rounded the end using my WRMK Enveloper

The flowers where plain papermania ones that I coloured using my promarkers

Finally finishing with the pearl gems

Birthday Flowers

Had a surprise day off work today - should have been taking hubby to hospital but they let us know last night they had booked him in for the wrong clinic!

We now have an appointment for next Wednesday hopefully in the right clinic

So I thought I would have a lay in and a day of crafting and sorting

The papers are all from my stash I think most are papermania papers

The ribbon was the hanger in one of my friends tops 

(she saves them for me and then gives me a bag full)
