Happy 16th Birthday to my little boy!

Anyone who knows me will know that cooking is not my best activity, I do not enjoy and do not achieve very good results.   As it is my sons 16th Birthday today his sister wanted me to make a cake that she could hide presents in. On the SVG's Cuts website I saw this pattern for a birthday cake box.   I cut 8 boxes on my ecraft and put them all together - then 8 candles and flames where cut and assembled The top of the each slices lifts off and inside she had put money, sweets and little treats I think it is the best cake I have every made!  Luckily my mum is a wonderful cook and my son had requested a  Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate Cake!! She baked a round chocolate fudge cake and a small square one iced them in chocolate , then decorated with rolos, chocolate orange,M&M's, Magic Stars, white chocolate buttons and mint matchmakers. This card is going to be a thank you card for my son construction teacher He has help him in so many way with reading and also organising and motivating the group, that my son is part, off that are going to Mexico at the end of this month to build a house for a family who have no where at the moment He truly is a inspiration gentlemen. Happy 70th Birthday

This card was made using my E-Craft die cutting machine, to cut the 70th and the letters. It is an A4 card as I thought such a special occasion needed a large card.
