Birthday Card and Candle

 This card was made using my house mouse stamp

Coloured with my promarkers

I then cut it out using my Marianne Dies

Which gives a nice lace effect

The sentiment is stamped and is from a See D set

Buttons from stash

Ribbons was some blog candy I was sent and I ruffed it for effect

Papers came for a Docraft Goodie bag

 This box I made the old fashioned way with my craft knife and ruler

Finished it with a ribbon and some flowers

Inside the box is this candle I decorated

using the same House Mouse Stamp and the See D's sentiment

stamped onto white tissue paper

I coloured the image with my promarkers

Then used my heat gun to melt it in to the candle

using greaseproof paper to protect candle

Fathers Day

This card uses a stamp for Papermania

I stamped on to piece of the backing paper and paper pieced the chair

The rest of the image was coloured using promarkers

The paper came for the 'Its a Man World' also by Papermania

Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday - 105

 Its Wednesday so its time to nosey around the desks of the world again

On my desk this week is my wonderful PIF from Bleubeard and Elizabeth

That winged its way all the way from America and arrived here Monday

It was so exciting to have package from abroad

and to joining in the PIF

its the first one I have done and it has been such fun

On top of my desk you can see two old books they are the manuals for my

1913 Rudge Multi Motorbike

unfortunately when we took it out at the weekend a bit fell off

So I need to get it repaired - oh how I wish I still had access to metal lathe

There are also some Christmas digi images from Pollycraft

that I brought as they are on offer at the moment

I have coloured these ready to make five cards for the

 Christmas Cards All Year Round Blog

Well as you can tell this has been schedule as I am back at work

Wedding Celebrations

They are coloured using my promarkers

The papers I have used I won on the Pollycraft Challenge site

Like lots of new paper its take me a time to use them

I have to look at them first and admire lol

The sentiment came out of Docrafts goodies bag

The little wooden heart came from my local craft shop

ABC Christmas - K

 This card used a new digi image from Pollycraft

I brought this today as lots of there Christmas images are on special offer

He is coloured using my pro markers and then a little glitter glue added

The snowman paper I have had in my stash for ages

sorry cannot remember where it came from

The kraft paper came from a do crafts goodie bag I brought the other week

 This week I am playing in the early hours of the Wednesday morning.

I am off this week so thought I would post this before going to bed

(still have to get up early to take DD to work)

and as it is now nearly 1.30am I really should tear myself away from my crafts

and catch to zzzzzzz's

A couple of people asked on my previous post how I did the candles

 The idea came from create and craft tv

Using tissue paper stamp onto it and then heat it onto the candle with a heatgun
the thiner the tissue paper the better
I have used it with white and pink and it dissappears into the candle nicely

I stamped Little Suzy stamp and coloured it using my peel off markers

Then just held it on a candle and heated it simple

Has to be as I managed it!

 I found the small candles like this one heat really quickly

but still work out ok

I think maybe if my heat gun had more than one setting

it would be a bit better

This is my Pif all wrapped and ready to go

Its the first time I have done one of these and

while trying to come up with ideas nearly gave up!
