Well its the last Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday of 2010
If you wonder why I have uploaded photos of my desk and drawer pop over to
and have a nose around the world at what our fellow crafter have been up to!
I had a great trip around last week and managed to visit everyone.
Sorry for the photos this week its nearly 10.00am here and its still dark, grey and murky.
On my desk this week is the start of some wedding invitations
A friend at work is getting married next year and after I gave her one of my homemade
Christmas cards she asked if I could do her wedding invitations.
She has an idea that she has described to me that I have done and I am also doing a couple of other options for her so she can choose which one she wants.
In the photo above you can see one of the pull out shelves that makes my desk bigger when I need to spread out more - there is one either side

The drawer this week is the second one down on the right and it hold all the bits I need to grab
easily. As you can see there is my rolls of tape, glue, 3d foam, peel offs and stickers.
There is also a stamp with a splodge person and my name that I put on the back of anything I make.
Hope you have enjoyed a little look into my crafting world
I wish everyone a very
Happy New Year and a Great 2011
See you next year!

Whats on my workdesk Wednesday?
After my showing off last week of visiting all the desk I think I only managed about 30 this week
but I still enjoyed the nosey round - hopefully I will have more time this week!
Well on my workdesk this week is not a lot!
This week has been a really busy one and my crafting has taken a bit of back seat
It was all for a good reason as I have been spoilt for the last 3 days
because it was my 40th Birthday
I had shopping treat, meals visits from family and lots of lovely presents
On present is to visit some craft shops in the New Year with spending money!
Another is a Falconry experience day
I am also being taken by my friend to Germany on Saturday for the day
to see the German Christmas Markets
Really excited as I have only been abroad a couple of times and never to Germany
See said I had been spoilt
The drawer I am showing this week is my drawer that sits in the centre of my desk under my main craft area
Its a large drawer and as you can see I use it hold some 12 x 12 papers
Plus all my odds and sods so that its easy to grab when I am crafting
I will show you my main paper storage later on
For those of you wondering how my Little Morris Minor Ernie is coming on
the parts I have been waiting for arrived on Saturday
I had Monday of work so lapped the values and replaced the cylinder head gasket
and put him back together
The above picture is of the back workbench and tool board of the garage
With Ernie's head waiting to be refitted and the oily rags that so many people asked to see!
This picture show the side work bench and tool board
A bit of mess, but as you see even my tools I like organised just like my crafting, the spaces are the tools I was using at the time to fix the car,
The little blue stool is because I am a little vertically challenged and is just the right size
for me to be able to reach the roof of my Morris when I am cleaning him for a show
Or to sit on when working on brakes etc lol
So Ernie has now left the warmth of the garage and let his little girlfriend
Emily the Morris Convertible back into the warmth
If you are wondering why on earth I am showing you a clear craft desk and my garage workbenchs then hop over to the fabulous Julia blog Stamping Ground have a nose around and if you feel like it share you space
Thanks for Looking

Whats On Your workdesk Wednesday?
Its that time of the week again and last week I managed to visit everyone
A QUICK PLEA
Some blogs I struggle to leave messages as you have word verification on and being dyslexic
I really struggle with it - if you could turn it off I am sure it would help lots of people
If you worried about whats posted on you blog just tick that it needs approval before being seen by everyone that way you still have control
Any how onto my desk - no pictures of Ernie my poorly Morris Minor as because of the snow we did not have post for about 5 days so I am still waiting for the spares to arrive so I can put him back together
For those that wanted to see my garage workdesk including oily rags
as saying goes what this space!
On my craft desk this week are some new goodies that I brought with some Blog Candy Voucher
I won on the Simon Says Challenge site
I got a new Sew Easy stitching head, two set of Tim Holts embossing folders
(my first Tim Holts items) and some stickles again a first for me
I have used lots of other glitter glues but I must say I really like this one and I can see me getting more
There are also some finished cards and a printed image waiting to be coloured

The drawer this week is the top left one that holds my inks and wooden stamps

Most of my wooden stamps are house mouse ones (they are so cute)

Mainly I use clear stamps that I house in a different storage box. But in this drawer are a couple of sets that need sorting and putting in that box, I also have my clear mount rocker blocks and stamps cleaners. Oh and some cotton buds I use for smudging and wiping little bits!

If you wonder what on earth this is all about pop over to the Queen of the desk hops at the Stamping Ground Blog and have a nose

Thanks to anyone who has read my waffle this far and a Happy Wednesday to Everyone

Well its that time of the week when we all get to nosey at every ones workspace
If you do not have a clue what I am talking about have a look over
But be warned it can get addictive!
I took these pictures late Tuesday evening as with the weather I will be leaving even earlier than normal for work in the morning!
Hope you are all have a warm and cosy Wednesday.
Well as you can see from the first photo not a lot is going on on my craft desk at the moment
In fact nothing at all the reason being is I have been busy working in the snow on my other workbench in the garage!
Below is a picture of my 43 years Morris Traveller called Ernie
Well last week on his daily 50mile trip to and from work he blew his head gasket and had to hitch a ride home on the back of a recovery truck!
Now luckily I am a fully qualified mechanic so have spent the evening in the garage
removing the cylinder head
I have now ordered a new head gasket but because of the snow may have to wait a while for it to arrive
but as soon as it does I will put it all back together.
Then Ernie and me can be travelling to and from work again
I would had shown my workbench at the back of the garage but is covered in oil, rags and tools.
Plus I didnt think many of you would be interested in my mechanics tools lol

Even though I haven't done much crafting this week I have remember to show the next drawer on my desk
This on is the third on up on the left of the desk
It holds some pens & pencils, my extra long reach stabler, scissors, adhesives
letter press ink (not that I use that ink), chalks and my crop a dial

Hope I have not bored you all to much with mechanics
Hopefully something more crafty next week

Thanks for Looking

x Nicky x
